| Summary: | This paper is dedicated to the topic of Distance Education (DE) through access to Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) and the potential exploitation of didactic teaching of Information Technology and Communication, focusing more specifically the issue of training work through distance education. It will examine concepts related to this type of teaching and learning, including comparisons with aspects of concentional learning and teaching. Launching the concept that transactional distance (Moore cited Kensi, 2006), sought to demonstrate that DE can provide a close teacher-student interchange even greater than that observed in the presence education and, above all, can stimulate the formation of a critical learner who learns by doing, reflecting, building and giving meanings, and contrary to what many believe, interacting.
