Description
Summary:The present study analyzes the determining factors of satisfaction within a “Conflict Management” training program which was delivered both face-to-face and online to Secondary Education teachers during the academic year 2011-2012. The method employed is mixed, comprising qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The former is based on a discussion group for the study of the relationship among the dimensions resulting from its implementation, while the latter employs a satisfaction Likert-type scale to study the regression of the dimensions of the scale. Both instruments were designed ad hoc and implemented at the end of the program. Employing the programs NVIVO v.6 and GHEPI for the content analysis and SPSS v.20 for the statistical analysis, results revealed high levels of satisfaction regarding the program. At the same time, they also indicated that the conditioning factors of satisfaction were internal elements, with an emphasis on personal and professional development. Therefore, the data encourage the replication of the program in other contexts, with different organizations and teachers.
