Description
Summary:The current era is characterized by vertiginous changes in the fields of technology and creativity, expanding markets, sharpening competition and strong pressures to increase profitability levels of investments. This forces companies to have a better management of innovation to match the demands of the market. From this challenge, the need arises to improve the state of innovation in the company Campismo Popular Pinar del Río. The purpose of this study was to make a qualitative diagnosis of the state of innovation, which included the evaluation of innovation management as part of the business management system. The methodology used to fulfill the objective was supported by survey techniques, interviews, documentary review, the Vester matrix and the problem tree were applied to define the regularities that affect innovation management. The results include the lack of knowledge of the innovation policy of managers, specialists and technicians, the non-existence of a structure that allows management and the lack of integration of the components of the science system in the company. The need to apply a procedure that integrates the institution's potentials for the innovation management process was visualized.
