The article intends to point out some limits and possibilities of working with Psychoanalysis at the university. Initially features two discourses based on Lacanian theory. Following, it investigates the valuation model used in universities as a contemporary version of university discourse. In this model, the issues of subjectivity are silenced in favor of valuing quantity of knowledge. Finally, the article elects supervised stage as a privileged moment of the transmission of Psychoanalysis at the university.
