THE INFLUENCE OF FISHING ON DEMERSAL FISH POPULATIONS – TWO CASE STUDIES
This paper shows the trends in fish populations from demersal systems in two areas. The contrast between the Georges Bank/Gulf of Maine area and the North Sea illustrates how similar systems can respond differently.
