The author, using Swedish textbooks, analyses their contents applying in the examination G. Hofstede’s theory on culture dimensions, focusing on one of these dimensions (power distance). This approach might be an inspiration as far as methodology of didactic materials is concerned, as well as practical ways of introducing equality-oriented contents into school textbooks. |
