NEW VARIETIES OF LEGUMINOUS CROPS CREATED WITHIN THE „SELECTIA” RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF FIELD CROPS

This article highlights the importance of creating new varieties of leguminous crops as a source of vegetable protein which contributes to minimizing protein deficit showing justification for the decision of the United Nations to declare the year 2016 the International Year of Legumes.
