Dennis Lo

Lo attending an academic conference at [[University of Cambridge]] on 20 April 2023 Dennis Lo Yuk-ming (, born 12 October 1963) is a Hong Kong molecular biologist, best known for his contributions to the development of non-invasive prenatal testing. His research focuses on the detection of cell-free fetal DNA in blood plasma.

Lo is the current Associate Dean (Research) and Li Ka Shing Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where he is also the head of the Department of Chemical Pathology and the director of the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences.

Lo is set to succeed Rocky Tuan as the vice-chancellor and president of CUHK on 8 January 2025, following his nomination as the sole candidate and the unanimous approval of his nomination. Provided by Wikipedia
