Hiroo Yamagata

is a Japanese author, critic, economist and translator. He translated some works in computer technology such as ''The Cathedral and the Bazaar'' by Eric S. Raymond, ''Code and Other Laws of Cyberspace'' by Lawrence Lessig into Japanese.
