Will Bloss

Bloss (left) in 1893 William Herbert Bloss Sr. (April 4, 1869 – June 22, 1921) was an American college football player and coach. He was the first head football coach at Oregon Agricultural College–now known as Oregon State University—serving for two seasons, in 1893 and again in 1897. Bloss was also the quarterback of the 1893 team. He was heralded by contemporaries as a "great coach" and one of the fiercest players on the field of the first two decades of football in the Pacific Northwest. Provided by Wikipedia
