Samuel Morin

Morin with the [[Lehigh Valley Phantoms]] in 2018 Samuel Morin (born July 12, 1995) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Flyers in the first round, 11th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to his professional career, Morin spent four seasons with Rimouski Océanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), where he helped lead the team to a President's Trophy win in 2015.

Morin made his professional debut with the Flyers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, in the following season. Over the course of his six-season professional career, the final four were plagued by knee injuries, limiting him to 28 NHL games and 55 total professional games in that span. In 2022, after missing the entirety of the 2021–22 hockey season due to injury, Morin retired at the age of 26. Provided by Wikipedia
