'''Brian Francis O'Neill''' (January 25, 1929 – July 21, 2023) was a Canadian sports executive who worked for the National Hockey League (NHL), reaching the level of executive vice president. O'Neill oversaw the NHL's expansion draft in 1967 and later looked after the NHL Entry Draft until he took over as executive vice-president after NHL president Clarence Campbell stepped down in 1977. With this new position, he doled out punishment on any disciplinary cases. He would also represent the league on the international front.
