10cm chirped fibre Bragg grating for dispersion compensation at 10 Gbit/s over 400km of non-dispersion shifted fibre

Using a 10 cm long chirped apodised fibre Bragg grating, dispersion compensation up to 400km of nondispersion shifted fibre has been achieved in a 10Gbit/s transmission system.
