This work investigates Archean continental geodynamics. Three cratonic areas were studied: the Pilbara Craton, Australia (3.5--3.2 Ga), the Yilgarn Craton, Australia (2.7 Ga) and the Abitibi Subprovince, Canada (2.7 Ga).
