| Summary: | Diploma thesis "The relationship of dance and music in the work of Gregorio Lambranzi" examines the collection, which has preserved the writings of the dance analogy. It is exceptional both in content aimed at the dance theater of the commedia dell´arte environment, as well as form processing, which combines music, literary and artistic component. My work aims to analyze in detail various aspects of this extraordinary work, not only in terms of dance and music, as well as stage design and costumes. Given the extensive work I have focused only on the first volume. Marginally my work also deals with music and dance events in the second half of the 17th and in the early 18th century. Attention and commedia dell´arte phenomenon, including a brief description of each mask and the influence of this peculiar art of the dance theater.
