| Summary: | The master thesis describes the possibilities of music education in Czech Republic and the United States. At first, is describing the general level of Czech and American educational system, then it aims in detail to the University of South Florida. The basic foundation for my work is a study of Hana Ripková Vysoké školství v USA (2006). I have used these general terms: College, undergraduate, graduate, tutors, GPA; as well as specific music terms. The main goal of this master thesis is to introduce the system of American music education with main focus in School of Music of University of South Florida, provided undergraduate and graduate studies, individual subjects and subsequent comparison with the conditions of the Czech education.
