Summary:This thesis called ``Feedback in Classroom Interaction`` is focused on different ways of providing students with feedback by teachers in everyday school interaction and whether the feedback is rather evaluative or communicative. The first part, which is aimed at theoretical description, deals with problems concerning feedback. For the theoretical part there was used specialized literature written mainly by foreign authors. Furthermore the thesis describes different techniques of correcting and how these methods are being used in practice. The second part is concentrated on practical research done at several basic schools. The aim of this work is to find out which type of feedback or which techniques used at basic schools are the most effective for pupils to develop their speaking skills and how the students themselves perceive teacher´s feedback.
