This part also explains the basic terms {--} title and translation and describes the origin, function and typology of literary title. The theoretical part is enclosed by introducing all different kinds and methods of translation. The practical part consists of bilingual index of original title and Czech translation of literary works translated between 1990 {--} 2006. Introductory part presents a short summary of translation of titles in general and is followed by outlining the strategy of translation based on different semantic diversities.
