In the theoretical part the main terms concerning the positive and negative transfer are explained. There is a summary of the interference of a mother tongue in learning a foreign language, and the negative transfer of a foreign language in learning the second foreign language. It is followed by the interference description in particular language plans with the list of typical negative intereferences of Czech into Spanish. In the practical part an analysis of pupils` speech is proceeded, aimed to set up a list of the most common mistakes which pupils with A1 level often make.
