Title of Thesis: NMR Analysis of the Alcaloids Isolated from Magnolia x soulangeana Keywords: Magnolia, NMR spectroscopy, alkaloids This diploma is devoted to structural analysis of the unknown chemical substances isolated from Magnolia × soulangeana employing NMR spectroscopy. Theoretical part of this diploma is focused on Magnoliaceae family, the family of Magnolia × soulangeana. General methods of NMR spectroscopy experiments - 1D NMR (1 H NMR, 13 C NMR) a 2D NMR (gHSQC, gHMBC, gCOSY, NOESY) are described at the beginning of the experimental part. Followed by chronological interpretation of the NMR spectra. The last part summarizes the experimental parts results.
