| Summary: | This thesis is focused on visualisation of mathematical issues using pictures. The first theoretical part is focused on pedagogical-psychological view on visualisation. Basic division of picture material and its pros and cons. Next part, main part, is focused on specific mathematical issues and their proofs. Issues could be divided into three categories: geometric and algebraic proofs, arithmetic and geometric inequalities and proofs which are focused on sequences of integer numbers. The last part contains working sheets for elementary school students. |
