The presented thesis aims to bring general public to the life of migrants who come to live in a new environment and in particular captures the view of women migrants on their situation, how they experienced the migration process and how they experience the process of integration into the Czech society. In the theoretical part, the work deals with the phenomenom of relational roles, migration and a short discourse upon the migration history in the world and in the Czech Republic. It offers information about two nationalities which participate on the cultural plurality of the Czech Republic, Chechnya and Belarus. In the practical part, it analyses interviews with six women, equally represented by these two nationalities, using qualitative research. The aim of this thesis and especially of the qualitative research is the effort to see the individual lifes of respective families and to get personal testimonies that can help other people to reveal their lives, difficulties and joys. At the same time the thesis mentions practical recommendations for the social work with migrants. The presented thesis aims to bring the life of migrants closer to general public.
