| Summary: | The presented diploma thesis is built on my bachelor thesis and deals with the study of preparation of ortho-substituted 3-phenylflavins. The target is prepration of 3-ortho-tolylflavin and 3-ortho-tolylflavin-N-oxide and their potential transformation to diastereomeric ortho-substituted flavin-amides or flavin-esters. Obtained substances could be tested as potential catalysts for redox reactions, especially for enantioselective sulfoxidations. |
