Summary: | 67 Resume Changes in civil law during the Second Czechoslovak Republic and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (1938 - 1943). The main subjects of this piece of work are changes in Czech civil law between 1938 and 1943. Law rules (especially government orders) that were created by Czechoslovak (later by Protectorate) government in the period of strong German power in Europe are described and commented. Democratic legislation was being replaced this way step by step and this process resulted into a very chaotic situation. However, most of these inovations were declared invalid after the end of the war. The government orders are divided into four sections according to their subjects - regulation of free treatment of properties, compensations of damages, rental issues and labour-law relationships. Ordering is chronological and a brief comment is added, so that it is possible to see the development of single sections of civil law in time. The parts focused on rental law and labour law are more detailed because the most significant changes occured in these fields of interest. To conclude, this work is an overview of the right restrictions which were parallel to the increase of Nazi power. Keywords: Civil law Protectorate Occupation
