ANALYSIS OF PHYSICIANS' MOTIVATION FOR TREATMENT AND SELF-TREATMENT WITH HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC Student: Formánková, M. Tutor: Marešová, H. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: This diploma thesis presents a continuation of the study of Eva Křivská who dealed with this topic in various regions of the Czech Republic. I was interested in the opinion of the physicians in the three selected towns of the Czech Republic. Aim: The aim was to identify an attitude of the physicians to the homeopathic method of treatment. I tried to discover their opinion and to find out if they perform practical application of homeopathy. I was interested in what attitude appears in the other physicians, pharmacists and the patients as well. Methods: The goal directed investigation with the physians of different specializations was performed in the three towns of the Czech Republic (Kolín, Poděbrady, Hradec Králové). A questionnaire method was used, 78 physicians participated. The final file was screened by the frequency analysis.
