The analysis explores political, economic and conflict related factors that inhibit the narcotics industry and the cooperation between insurgent movements, drug trafficking organization, the warlord organizations and the state power holders. The major question is if the phenomenon of organized crime can be considered as one of the direct causes that triggers the failure of state. The first and second chapters present the theoretical base and concept and the methodology for the whole analysis. After that a short presentation of the historical overview takes place where the roots of the different roles and actors are explored. The main chapter then presents the actual case study of the situation of Afghanistan after the year 2001 and brings the analysis of the relation between organized crime and the process of state failure. 2011 info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-298343 cze info:eu-repo/semantics/restrictedAccess
