Summary:This diploma thesis consits of two main parts. The first of them is the introduction to Pentecostalism showing the movement in the global scale of its expansion with the focus at the movement's beginnigs and its later development. The focal points are the historical roots of the movement and the later growth of it as well as movement's specific theology and its development. The main problem of this thesis is the relationship (dynamics of relationship) of pentecostal movement to the estatblished, traditional ("mother") churches. The relationship formed by the birth of the movement in the midst of traditional churches seeking to transform the church from within aiming to its growth. The situation of the ČCE church Praha 7 - Holešovice ("Na Maninách") is analysed as an example in the second part of the thesis. This church fellowship was the center of the charismatic movement in our country at the 80' s under Dan Drápal's direction. The historical framework are the years 1977- 1990, which cover the period from the beginning of Drápal's ministry in Holešovice until their separation from the mother denomination.
