| Summary: | Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Candidate: Hana Karásková Consultant: PharmDr. Jana Pourová, Ph.D. Title of Thesis: Current therapeutic options for the treatment of urticaria Abstract The aim of this thesis was to summarize pharmacological groups and substances used for urticaria therapy. In the introduction, a brief historical overview is provided, followed by the current classifications of the disease, its pathogenesis and methods of diagnosis. The main part of the thesis is focused on the known types of urticaria, their clinical manifestations, the possibilities of treatment and the pharmacological groups used. In the concluding part alternatives of urticaria therapy are mentioned.
