The thesis then goes into more detail in the section devoted to training and development within personnel management system. A key chapter is the one devoted to coaching. Coaching is clearly defined along with the coaching process and types. The core of the chapter consists of the summary of current psychological approaches in coaching. Coaching is also compared with other methods of training and development, as well as other phenomena which we normally encounter in current psychotherapeutic practice. Finally, attention is given to the current situation of coaching in Czech Republic. The empirical part of the thesis summarizes the research conducted, with the goal of evaluating the current coaching situation in Czech Republic from the perspective of coaching clients - coached managers.
