We are focusing on their ability of conceptual understanding of the surrounding world. The theoretical part of the thesis is aimed to defíne the terms of aphasia, brain traumata and semantics. It describes different points of view taken from various angles such as neurological, psychological, linguistic and also logopeadical points of view. In the practical part there will presented how I managed to generate the material required for semantics examinations and how I conducted its practical tests. The information provided, in particular in the practical part of the thesis, should assist to logopeadists in their exploring of all levels of language. The thesis is to draw attention to deficiencies in logopaedical diagnostics of semantics and to draw attention to the often insuffícient competences of a logopaedist to recognise the level and the scope of comprehension of terms applicable even in the case of severely affected ability to communicate. 2007 info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-293225 cze info:eu-repo/semantics/restrictedAccess
