Summary:My diploma work is focused on issues of the integrating process of Romany children into kindergarten. This process is an important presumption for future, successful, whole-life education of these children. The theoretic part clarifies a position of Romany minority in society. It focuses on their separation within historical and social context. Special attention is dedicated to characteristic of preschool age children development, which is focused on Romany child and its situation in family and kindergarten. The practical part finds out factual situation in delimited locality. From teacher's point of view it specifies problems and tried method of working, which is brought with integrating. It limits reasons, and discovers benefits as they are perceived by Romany parents. The acquired information and verified experience can be the basis for creation of the specific integrating proposal.
