Summary: | This Diploma Thesis deals with the use of autistic children's free time and is aimed on the primary school children. It sets itself a goal to describe the specialities in spending of these children's free time and to investigate the present free time activities situation in Prague region. The combination of qualitative methods (case study, analysis of interview) and quantitative methods (questionnaire survey) was used in the Thesis. The topics are logically classified: the first chapter summarizes the basic terms which are important for the orientation in the problem. It briefly describes the autistic etiology, characterizes the autistic primary school age child and describes its behavior. The second chapter deals with the general characteristic of the free time, and next, it aims on the game as an important part of the primary school age and its specifics with the autistic children. The third chapter investigates the possibilities of the free time use for autistic children in Prague. The next chapter proves the specialities in the evolution and behavior in the free time, which are mentioned above, on the casuistry of the primary school age child.
