| Summary: | TITLE: Surnmer cross biathlon Letní krosov}· biatlon OBJECTIVE.· To create a comprehensive summary of summer cross biathlons and describe selected issues thereofby means ofan analysis ofcurrently available data. METHODS: The following methods were used during the analysis: 1. acquisition of information, research and experience from currently available data 2. analysis and assortment ofacquired data 3. creation of a final summary with regard to the research fmdings, which should be used in the dissertation. RESULTS: An in-depth summary on summer cross biathlons was created. Accordingly, the thesis comprehensively describes the progress and rise in popularity of summer cross biathlons throughout the world and in the Czech Republic as well as the sport's rules, system ofcompetition, important races, equipment and background.
