Summary: | TITLE: An Account of Implementation the Personal and Social Education on a Selected Basic School SUMMARY: The thesis covers the cross-curricular subject Personal and Social Education, and its confirmation in the educational system of the Czech Republic. In the practical part, it focuses on its long-term realisation at a selected elementary school. In the research section, attention is paid to the history of implementing Personal and Social Education at the selected school, and to the skills, which students have learned in the lessons; moreover, the research is focuses on the practical use of these skills in students' lives. The questionnaire survey concentrates on the students' point of view concerning the acquired skills and their practical serviceability. The aim is to verify the fact that from the students' point of view the implementation of Personal and Social Education at the selected school influences their practical lives.
