66 International Legal Regulation of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Abstract of Thesis Author: Michaela Hladká The topic of thesis is focused on international legal regulation of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), which is one of the most substantive problems regarding the fact that the child is the most vulnerable victim because of its lowered ability of defense and therefore he/she demands special protection. The thesis provides analysis of the phenomenon of commercial sexual exploitation of children regarded from the view of international law. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The reasons for the analysis of this topic including the history of the problem and the target of the thesis are described in the first chapter. The elemental terms concerning CSEC are explained in the second chapter which makes orientation in following chapter easier. The instruments of international law concerning CSEC are described in detail in the next chapter. The chapter four deals with the types of CSEC: child prostitution, child pornography and trafficking in children. The chapter number five offers the analysis of implementation of international treaties into legal system of the Czech Republic and deals with the use of these provisions in practice.
