Summary: | This master's thesis provides a qualitative study of the cooperation between the Czech NGOs networks and European networks. The theoretical part defines the concept of networks, their functions, assets and disadvantages, and introduces the relevant empirical research carried out in the Czech Republic. Further, it gives an overview of the European NGOs networks, including the analysis of both advantages of EU policy on this issue, and the disadvantages of transnational networking in a national NGOs perspective as well as in a broader context. The empirical part provides a case study of two Czech networks participating in the European networks focused on analysing the networks cooperation, the form, the assets and the difficulties, and finally places the obtained research data into a broader theoretical context in oder to suggest the recommendations for cooperation improvement.
