Summary:Annotation: The contents and the gravity point of dissertation work is the comparison of art educational goals, anchored in the Frame Educational Program of art educational goals, anchored in the Frame Educational Program for Elementary Education and Gymnasiums in the Czech Republic and in the Educational Syllabus for eight year's gymnasiums in Bavaria. Comparing the different curricular document was realized on the basis of operationalizing observed categories of educational goals in field competencies. The possibilities of realizing anticipated educational goals were consequently verified by field research and illustrated on the basis of gained data and authentic student's art works. The indispensable prerequisite how to realize the mentioned research was the description of art educational system in Germany, the original translation work in the field of art theory and its pedagogical reflection in the 2nd half of the 20th and 21st century.
