The thesis briefly outlines the development of Serbian lexical pitch accents and discusses the contemporary state of the system from the above mentioned authors' perspective. On the basis of recordings of texts read by native speakers from Kosovska Mitrovica the thesis describes the system of pitch accents in the region. By measuring the course of F0 in stressed and following syllables the thesis analyses the realization of respective types of lexical pitch accents, their mutual similarities and differences.
