This study is aimed at problems of occurrence of obesity of two selected groups of clients with mental handicap in dependence on their lifestyle and feeding habits. In most of new built social settlements of this type clients are provided with all -day food by professional caterer services. This way is very convenient for organizations with institutional care, because they don't have to carry on a kitchen in their settlement. So, related costs like assurance of staff in three-shift operation, expensive equipment of the kitchen or compliance to sanitary codes, are saved. Here we can ask a question: to what degree is this type of feeding positive for the client who must consume imported food for the whole lifetime? The aim of my dissertation was to depict the way of feeding, consuming habits and general lifestyle of clients of home for men with handicap and to try to find out the reasons why most of the clients suffer from obesity. 2009 info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis http://www.nusl.cz/ntk/nusl-275557 cze info:eu-repo/semantics/restrictedAccess
