Summary:The legal regulation of hunting Summary This diploma paper considers the legal regulation of hunting. Hunting also aims to the wildlife protection in terms of execution of specific economic activity. It is a part of human activity with rich historical tradition, certain customs and usages, particular living space requirements (countryside and landscape) and close relation to animal production or breeding. Game management and hunting partly separate this activity from agricultural production, however there is an indisputable connection with problems of agricultural law. The paper contains the legislation in force of hunting in the Czech Republic and considerations de lege ferenda, review of the legal regulation development and confrontation with the foreign legal regulation. Consider to my opinion the legal regulation of Hungary and Slovakia is a convenient inspiratory source, because these countries have comparable hunting tradition, their legal regulation start from common historical roots. Hungary and Slovakia therefore belong to the Central European hunting system as well as the Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic subsists a complex legal regulation of hunting.
