Presentation year: 2008 Survey: Thesis aims: The thesis is focussed on the characterisation of the current issues in the work of coaches in selected sports. The appraisal of the data on the coaches' attitudes about contemporary sport and its comparison from the viewpoint of individua! and collective sports. Methods used: Gathering of the data through a questionnaire completion, interview and the analysis of the answers obtained by the research using a unified questionaire.
