| Summary: | Title: Analysis ofqualification system for biathlon world cup used in season 2007/2008 Author: Jiří Koubek Aims: The goal of this thesis is to clearly summarize the system development of the season 94/95 compared to the season 06/07. And to furthermore compare discussed proposals of the system with the current systems, to describe whether or not the new system fulfilled its purpose. In addition, to try, in the case ofmalfunction ofthe system based on the experience from past years and based on the new proposals, to fmd the solution of the form of the new system, which would be functional in full. Methods: Collection and analysis of the secondary data from official web sites IBU, documents from the agenda of technical committee of IBU and documents from European broadcasting union. Results: After the passed season evaluates positives and negatives of this system and evaluates the goals, from which the system originated, were fulfilled.
