| Summary: | This graduation work deals with the collaboration of the school and family backgrounds. It surveys the present situation of the parent-teacher relation. It discusses the family as a primary social group, adverts to a social status in the Czech Republic. It inquires also into this relation and the collaboration in the Step by Step Programme, as one of the representative inovation model, which proposes concrete suggestions, how to realize the real effective collaboration. The graduation work verifies in practice which is the difference concerning the collaboration between the school and family at the common school and at the Step by Step school as well. At the end this work summarizes the present situation and show the possible strategies and ways, how to enlarge and develop the relation between the educators and parents.
