Summary:This master thesis deals with the theme Labyrinth, its interpretation, form, way of usage, historical and geographical occurance and evolution. The work is divided into three basic sections. The first one, theoretical, traces the evolution of the Labyrinth in historical and cultural context, and its transformations up to nowadays. The second part is didactic and includes worked out art projects for high school and gymnasiums on the theme of Labyrinth in the areas of nature, art, civilisation, metaphors and rituals. Further it includes some of the carried out lessons. Third part is practical and it presents through sketches and photodocumantation some of my proposals for the installation in the nature, and other projects. Part of this master thesis an enclosed CD with extra photo and videodocumentation for my master thesis, with completed Guide to the history of labyrinths and a labyrinth Diary.
