Summary:The dissertation thesis deals with the work by Vera Linhartova (1938), who combines in her writing three different cultural and language areas: a Czech, French and an East Asian one (Chinese and Japanese). The project is focused on her books of fiction of all genres (prose, poetry, radio plays). It also deals with the development of her poetics and its transformation after the author left for France in 1968 and started to write in French. Her literary work is always mentioned in the connection with her professional books in the field of art and literature. The work by Vera Linhartova is studied in the context of anti-illusive literature of the 20th century and in the context of art and philosophy with special reference to the French group Le Grand Jeu.
