HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewables) is a software tool that will enable Logistics Marines to conduct detailed planning to provide efficient expeditionary power. The focus of this thesis is the addition of Marine Corps systems into HOMER. Specific investigations include an analysis of SPACES compared to a control system, and rapid-discharge heat testing of lithium ion batteries.
