Introduces recommendations concerning the middle ground between ‘national interest’ and the right to FPIC. Discusses how the right to FPIC can be legally recognised in Ethiopia and Africa in general, including particularly by the African Commission, and outlines specific recommendations on the relevant policies of the World Bank and African Development Bank.
