It is concluded in this study that the procedures described in the concrete design codes and by Menetrey to determine the punching shear stress of concrete slabs reinforced with high strength carbon steel reinforcing bar compare well with the experimental results when 3CR I 2 corrosion resisting steel is used as reinforcing bar in concrete.
