An HIV prevention trial assessing the efficacy of daily acyclovir on HIV transmission among heterosexual HIV discordant couples was undertaken in South Africa. We conducted a before and after study with the aim of evaluating the effect of HIV counselling and condom provision on sexual behaviour of the heterosexual HIV discordant couples enrolled in this prevention trial. |
