Language Practice (Computer Assisted Language Teaching) The purpose of this study was to establish whether the boundaries of ageappropriate language-learning software could be crossed successfully with first year Language Practice students at the Tshwane University of Technology, in order to improve their inadequate English proficiency and their knowledge and understanding of English grammar skills. The research took the form of a case study in which 22 first year Language Practice Tshwane University of Technology students participated over a period of two weeks. The results indicated that the boundaries of age-appropriate software for language learning could be crossed successfully with the students who participated in the case study. Better results are, however, probable over a longer period of time. 2007 Text PDF en http://encore.tut.ac.za/iii/cpro/DigitalItemViewPage.external?sp=1001702
